| Just a few hours to go and I will be on the plane to Goa!!! Though I was in Goa less than 2 months back, it feels like its been ages. All sorts of thoughts are running through my mind. So many things to do while I'm there.... this will be the first time I will be spending quality time with my little fellow. The last time I was there for a few days, he spent most of the spent howling his guts out (at 3-4 days old!!).
I'm really looking forward to this trip!!

| Even a few years back I couldn't imagine myself buying hindi music. But yesterday I was browsing at Virgin and bought myself a music CD of the film Pareenita. I had heard the music before on radio and I think the entire collection is awesome. Over the last few years there has been a huge change in the quality of Indian music. Probably in a few years we will hear a lot more about indian musicians than we do today.

| I spend almost 60 mins in my car each way so the radio happens to be my close companion. Was listening to Gloria Gaynor belting out 'I will Survive'. Wow... what a powerful song.

| Ever had a terribly boring day? I have devised a new WICKED way to take care of such situations.
Out here, everybody spends a few minutes a day hunting for parking space. This is specially true near my place..... you always find people loling around hoping someone might be leaving so that they can park.
So here's the trick...
Park your car... hop out.... buy yourself something to drink.... call a friend over to to share a good laugh. Then as you see a car approaching unlock your car using the remote key (autolock as some know it). Obviously this s done from about 0 mts away.....
Your car blinks.... makes a small beepin sound and the guys jamtheirs brakes. At times 2-3 guys will suddeny race towards your car thinking that someone is going to leave the car. Sshh... then you watch. car comes.... car waits....car waits some more...car swears...car leaves.
WICKED?? Maybe.... good fun? yes yes yes!!! And its cheaper then buying movie tickets.  | | |
| I spend about an hour driving each way to work. The traffic is horrible and the mood outside is generally crazy. So what does one do when you spend so much time in your car which moves at a max of 10 kms/hr and a min of 0 kms/hr.

The entire road is full of billboards so getting in touch with banks, hotels, clubs, retail outlets, car dealers etc is not very difficult. So now I know a lot more about car loans, credit cards, the latest mobile phone, the next concert, great holiday destinations.... everything. Sometimes I confess to the customer service agent that I am just bored and trying to kill time and they say a lot of comforting stuff. Nice people.
